Hi. I used to have a really dry, formal explanation about here but I’m going to leave that job to this page. Instead, if you’re interested, here’s a bit of (maybe boring) background info about me.
I graduated from Liverpool John Moores University in 2008 with a degree in Multimedia Arts, which is pretty much a mish-mash of computer design, video editing, website building, animation and various other things.
Previous to this I’d done Art at GCSE and A-Level, so I suppose you could call me an art school student. Don’t though, otherwise there’ll be dire consequences. >:( You can find out more about my academic gloating past by viewing my online CV.
Well, in recent times I haven’t had much time for hobbies, instead choosing to fritter away my time doing everything about nothing on the Internet. However, I do other stuff, too… aside from going to the pub, I enjoy football and used to have a season ticket to Wigan Athletic, but I can’t really make the games any more. Whatyagonnado? I also play guitar to a not-very-good level considering I first picked up the instrument over eight years ago; I do just enough to get by.
Anyway, from there things descend into the realms of mild geekdom as I have a passing interest in retro video games, in particular those from the early-mid nineties. I started a blog about this a while back which I dip back into every so often but don’t really get the time update it that much.
My other “thing to do” is humour writing. Though I only admit to being pretty average in that I have just sufficient knowledge to get my point across, I hope I’ve at least brightened the days of one or two people. In 2005 I joined a site called the Uncyclopedia, a satirical parody of Wikipedia (think The Onion).
I later became an administrator there after writing numerous semi-popular articles and stories. In 2007 I co-founded a new, similar site known as Illogicopedia, which has recently broken into the top 600,000 sites on the web, at least according to Alexa. You should check it out.
More recently, I’ve been experimenting with different kinds of blogging. I’m currently working on Retro Yakking, which is labelled a humorous take on life in the North of England, but really doesn’t have any particular focus other than serving as an outlet for writing about stuff I find interesting.
Right, now I’ve got the MySpace banter out of the way, hopefully there won’t be any more vanity posts on this blog. Hopefully.

Hello,
Is there a way to burn xbox 360 games? Thank you in advance!
I’ve just bought xbox and im looking to buy some games, but those are so expensive
@Usman: I usually find a roaring fire works perfectly. Good luck, and make sure you burn your hands while you’re at it: I’m sure you’ll make a lot of people very happy.
