Now available: NPPD Rush Steam trading cards featuring artwork by Illarterate

Oh my, how could I have missed this? As of 27 July, you can collect Steam trading cards featuring designs by Illarterate from Railslave’s NPPD Rush: Milk of Ultra Violet game. Apparently that date has passed, but I wouldn’t know – I live in 1994. But then, you can probably tell from the style of ‘art’ I peddle.

Railslave’s new game, Uriel’s Chasm, is to be released on 12 September. I urge you to buy a copy and support indie game devs! Or just grab another glass of milk from the fridge, whichever suits you better.

And that’s all the samples you’re getting for now. Next time, you’ll have to pay for your habit like everyone else! But seriously, watch out for crazy pixellated video game character/YouTube retro gaming community personalities with pocket watches and dodgily-drawn police hats hunting you down. Oh no, the fat missile blokes are after me again! Quick, drive to the organ vendor…

Illarterate

I know nothing about art; as a rule, 'modern' graphic design does not appeal to me. I like to write in the first person because I do not want to be someone else.

Influences: public toilet cubicle drawings/slogans; WordArt posters in Market Street shop windows; Mega-Zine; bootleg vinyl artwork; Janne Suni; Pink Floyd; whoever is responsible for the Max Headroom hijacking incident; Collie, the Inept Reviewer.
